My internship felt as if I was thrown into the deep end, and at times it’s felt like sink or swim. Although challenging, I found this first-hand experience to be immensely valuable. My resume, professional development, as well as my life were hugely impacted by the chance to gain real-world experience and connections. I learned the value of accountability, time management and interpersonal communicationn — all while getting to apply my knowledge in a business setting.
