What do we know about musicians and stellar communicators? They’re passionate, tireless and open to what the world has to offer. Johnathan Davila is such a person, and we’re happy to have him as part of the team at Intern Pursuit.
A Communications major at the University of Central Florida, Jonathan has learned about event planning, media, journalism, graphic design and now, marketing. He's using what he knows and all that he’s learning to help pilot The Intern Whisperer radio show, create and edit content, and refine our marketing among other tasks.
This introvert at heart has his mind set on breaking old barriers and reaching big goals. One of those big goals: becoming a well-known musician. Another: to drive conversation, culture, and experiences with broadcasting giants Viacom and Turner. He’s already building the grit, problem solving skills and creativity needed to achieve them.
Here’s his advice for other first-time interns: “Don’t be afraid to guide the internship in the direction that you want. Take the internship seriously and strive to do better every day.”
